Forgive my ignorance but are any of those new shows/episodes or are they all reruns? Thanks.
Previous press releases said new episodes from Warner Bros Discovery will include House Hunters Renovation Season 18, My Lottery Dream Home, Season 16 & 17, House Hunters International and House Hunters. New episodes airing on Flavour in 2025 include Chopped, Guy's Grocery Games, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, and Beat Bobby Flay.

This is in addition to the new series that Corus acquired. The holiday break probably isn't the best time to judge the new schedule. The rebranded networks will be on free preview for 2 months to give people a chance to evaluate them.

Is it only Shaw Direct and Rogers will have the discovery channels? I am with Bell Aliant Fibe and I signed up for Citytv + on Prime Video Canada as a way of watching the Discovery shows and Investigation Discovery shows.

If that’s a case then maybe have them as part of an extension of City TV’s site.
I always assumed that's what they would do. since they did it for Bravo www.citytv.com/bravo/

Also similar to CTV, with a lot of the specialty channels on there.

Also Shaw Cable, but that doesn't apply to your area.

Yep. Yet Corus still has all their networks split into their own websites.

I'm thinking for the new year, Corus would decommission their specialty channels' websites, and redirect them to Global TV.
And I'm still waiting for them to add kids' content to the Global TV app, and introduce Parental Controls.

I still wish for that too, but they just retooled their websites a few months ago.
I wish that Rogers would introduce an ad free version of City TV+. Discovery+ has an ad free version, so why can’t Roger’s do the same with City TV+? (Or Corus, with Stack TV.)
Some of CityTV+ programming would have to be excluded if it has an ad-free version. Mainly stuffs that come from companies that run a streaming service in the country. That includes Bravo (Hayu), the Discovery channels (Discovery+), some of Paramount shows (Paramount+), FX, FXX and any of the Disney/20th TV shows on Fox (Disney+).

So the damage has been done. The parties involved will find that it is going to take a long time before subscribers forget and forgive how confusing and annoying all these changes to channels, channel names and their offerings have been for the average viewer. Bell Fibe customers in particular have had few of the alerts about the changes which people on other services have posted here in the last few months. If you are one of those people who didn't read their Nov. Bell bill in full (or don't follow DHC) you would have had no idea of the major changes implemented today .
