Food Network and HGTV to rebrand as Flavour Network and Home Network on December 30, 2024

WELCOME HOME! HOME NETWORK OPENS THE DOOR TO ITS WINTER/SPRING LINEUP, STARTING DECEMBER 30 .

New episodes from Warner Bros Discovery will include House Hunters Renovation Season 18, My Lottery Dream Home, Season 16 & 17, House Hunters International and House Hunters.

Viewers can learn more about these series by visiting the recently launched HomeNetwork.ca, which offers a fresh take on real estate, DIY projects, home decor and more, delivering inspiring articles, expert tips and the latest decor trends to help audiences create beautiful, functional living spaces. Home Network's social platforms will be live on December 27, 2024.

Telus has stated that they will be carrying Flavour Network and Home Network when they launch on December 30.

In addition, they are removing the Discovery channels owned by Bell when they rebrand on January 1. Just like how they removed OLN when it shuttered, rather than carry it's replacement Bravo.

Again, just like their parent company Telus, they are removing the Discovery channels owned by Bell when they rebrand on January 1. Just like how they removed OLN when it shuttered, rather than carry its replacement Bravo.

I considered switching to Start.ca several years ago, not long after they launched their TV service. I would have but found the TV service to be poor value due to the way channels were bundled. Telus just made that worse.

I don't usually post these types of news releases, but here's a summary of some interesting points.

CORUS ANNOUNCES OFFICIAL LAUNCH SPONSORS FOR FLAVOUR NETWORK AND HOME NETWORK - Corus Entertainment .

Marquee Partners Include Hellmann’s Mayonnaise, Pandora, and Think Turkey for Flavour Network, and The Brick and Rust-Oleum for Home Network. Additional Partners to be Announced in 2025

Corus repeated "Flavour Network and Home Network will replace the current channel position of Food Network Canada and HGTV Canada on December 30, 2024. Customers can contact their service provider for more details."

We'll see if Rogers cooperates.

I hate to be a complainer but I've just had to scroll down through umpteen screens to read the equivalent of about half a dozen messages. Do the contributors here really think they have to publish those monstrous pictures and screen grabs as part of their posts? A simple description of what they've seen would suffice.

The rebranded networks have the launch programming at last.

The last show to air on HGTV will be Good Bones at 6:00 a.m. Atlantic. The first to air on Home Network will be Scott's Vacation House Rules at 7:00 a.m. Atlantic.

The last show to air on Food Network will be Beat Bobby Flay at 6:30 a.m. Atlantic. The first show to air on Flavour Network will be Big Food Bucket List at 7:00 a.m. Atlantic.

HomeNetwork.ca and FlavourNetwork.ca have fleshed out their web sites over the last few weeks and included a full list of shows. I was curious whether the Property Brothers would be staying with Corus. They have 4 shows on Home Network, including new episodes of Property Brothers: Forever Home Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Home Network. (assuming that isn't just a copy and paste from the old site.)

Forgive my ignorance but are any of those new shows/episodes or are they all reruns? Thanks.

It's hard to tell, some of the House Hunters (HGTV / Home Network) episode are marked NEW, but sometime, specially with rebrand, a show can be new to the channel but not marked new because it's a rerun from an other channel. But House Hunters Renovation is marked Premiere (for Season 18), so this one is actually new.

For Food Network / Favour Network, every show after the rebrand at 07:00 (AT) /06:00 (ET) don't have any episodes information, so for now it's impossible to tell, but some of the shows where previously aired on Cooking Channel that will be shutdown on Jan 01, so some of the shows are moving from Cooking Channel to Flavour Network.
