As someone who has been using the *67 feature for name and number blocking on Rogers Wireless for years, I was surprised to learn when trying to make a call that the *67 command will no longer work to allow you to accomplish this. A recorded message now comes on informing you that to ensure your name and number are blocked you now have to dial #31# before the number you are calling.
I'm wondering if the change from a * prefix to that of a # signifies that Rogers is now starting to charge for this feature on a per call basis (which they shouldn't) as they have apparently started doing with their Home Phone division.
Anyone have any insight on this change as to when it started and what, if anything, it might mean?
