Who owns the exterior Rogers Cable box?

I'd like to know who "owns" the external box.. the grey one on the outside of the house where their cable underground feeds into and then is distributed through the house either on the outside or inside.

Reason I ask.. I'd like to install a dual bay OTA antenna but would like to feed the cable in to the box for ease of getting the signal to a couple of TV's.

I'm thinking it's Rogers, but there have been so many changes over the years. I would be keeping my Rogers internet.

It's Rogers'. You you are not allowed to feed OTA into an active Cable line as discussed in the OTA forum. You would need to totally separate the signals, which should be fairly simple if you've only got internet.

Thanks 57, that's where I got a bit confused.. the internet comes in on a different cable.. there would not be any leakage that I can see.

correct there would be no leakage, if its not CONNECTED to those cables in the box.

But technically, your not supposed to go in there

I believe you can buy similar boxes to use yourself.

That Box is Rogers Property and you cannot tamper with it.

You must get your own cables and Box
