4 Nations hockey and sadly no games via CN OTA. Ironically, you can watch some games via US OTA - ABC -WKBW, like tonight’s game. You’d think CBC or CTV would have at least the championship game, especially if a CN team is in it. One day there will be no hockey in CN via OTA. Luckily, ironically (again) CTV broadcasts lots of NFL.

Oddly, Rogers-owned CITY was carrying the ABC feed, while Rogers-owned Sportsnet was doing their own freed.

OMNI2 was carrying it OTA in Toronto as well - in Punjabi.

I'm sure cable stations were clamouring for that one. I'm assuming it was TSN or SN?

Never watched a minute of whatever that Hockey tournament was, but saw a lot of headlines.

Saw some of the UFC fight night on SN 360 at work on Saturday. Wish there were more OTA free Sports, but nobody in Canada wants to invest in OTA to do so.

It's all about Simsub rights. They OTA the ABC feed on CityTV so they can simsub City and ABC to their CableTV (Ignite IPTV?) Customers.

I don't know why they do their own feed, rather than just showing the ABC feed on a TSN channel for those that don't get City.

Presumably they gain more $ that way, but I don't see how.

I don't think CTV2 is coming from the CN tower. I certainly can't get it, and I get all the other CN signals.

Hamilton has it. CHCJ 35. I think Barrie has CTV2, also a weak repeater in Fonthill. Maybe Peterborough has a reapeater. Funny TO doesn’t have CTV2
