Oh I know I was talking about Bell and how they have a Netfllx, Disney Plus and Crave bundle called Bell Streaming. It's coming here to Atlantic Canada with Bell Aliant later on this Fall.
Bell proper has it now. (Ont. QU)
And yes I did hear about it in Jan. It's nice to have this option now.

Crave Apple TV app login - "NEW sign-in process."

Apparently signing in via your Shaw account isn't enough anymore?

This happened after I hadn't used Crave on my AppleTV box for some time, and it signed me out as it does.

Now it wants you to create a Bell Media email/password, or is that the Shaw email/password it's asking for - I kinda have no desire to create a Bell Media account, but, is that
the only way going forward?

CTV and TSN don't work this way, their apps still authenticate using the Shaw login info.

Anyone else find a work-around to this?

So you're creating a NEW email address and password, as opposed to using your Shaw Direct user/pass combo?
Correct, but before I did that, I seem to recall also filling in the Rogers user/pass combo. Both may be required, but remember I'm with Rogers and pay for Crave through them, which is not the same as simply streaming. I watch Crave through the Rogers Xfinity box for my TV watching, but sometimes go to the Crave app to see what's new. The former (TV Box) was unaffected, but the latter (Crave App on iPad) required the "new" Bell user/PW.

yeah, I don't pay for Rogers anything....I pay for Crave through Shaw Direct account

As much as people complain about Crave i actually got a chance to see HBO Max app last week. My cousin came up from Vermount and subscribes to HBO Max but has to use a VPN while visiting here. I checked it out for a company as big as WBD man their app is absolute crap with a capital C compared to Crave. Trust me. Crave app can still be made better tho.

Crave streaming has improved a lot since it was first introduced. When it was first launched it was very difficult to use, especially with some browsers. Browser plugins caused a lot of issues. It pretty much required a generic, 100% up to date installation of Chrome with no add-ons in order to work correctly. There were so many cross linked tracking and other extra sites that it was a logistical mess. Potentially, any one of those sites not working correctly could make streaming fail. In contrast, Netflix just worked with no issues, no failures on any browser, 100% of the time. Eventually, Bell had to upgrade their system because it was using insecure protocols that were no longer supported.
