American Superhero film "X-Men: First Class" from Fox Studios was the top selling movie and the top rental on DVD in North America last week according to figures published today by Rentrak. The fifth installment in the X-Men series which acts as a prequel to the X-Men Trilogy was released to theatres this past June and grossed over $350 million at the box office.

In second spot for both sales and rentals was the action thriller movie "Hanna" from Universal.

The Rentrak Top 10 Selling DVDs for the week ending September 11th were:

  4. Madea's Big Happy Family
  5. Sons of Anarchy: Season Three
  6. Rio
  7. Laugh to Keep From Crying
  8. Fringe: The Complete Third Season
  9. Two and a Half Men: The Complete Eighth Season
  10. Dexter: The Fifth Season

The Rentrak Top 10 Renting DVDs for the week ending September 10th were:
