Yes F2 is failing, so all the channels have to be migrated to G1, Shaw moved the channel 1st that winegard used to lock in on. who knows why. The channels will be converted to HEVC at some point as well, Then all 600 receivers are Useless and you will need an 800 series going forward. Winegard techs had to work with Shaw on the fix then they had to test it and make sure it worked on the older units. We expected it early Feb, then there was a glitch and we waited again.
And yes, once this is all done there will no longer be a signal down south IE arizona, Mexico etc. If you are in a state that can receive G1 then it will still work with the 800 rec. This was the plan to end it by the end of 2025. The failure of the satellite advanced that dead line. Thank Bell for pushing this..
So the way it works we will take the new IDU hook it to your system and be able to update the software in your GPS unit (in turrent on roof) then when finished put your old IDU back in, or you can opt to buy the new IDU and do this yourself if any future updates are needed and can now also control the dish from your phone.. Cool

That is always US by the way. by the time it gets to Canada with shipping etc our cost is a LOT more than that I'm Afraid.
