So it looks like Wind has a new data plan. I think this would have been better if it was 1GB instead of 500MB.

Charged Mobile
Charged Mobile gets you 500MB of data a month - enough for about 100 text-only emails/day + 5 emails with attachments/day + browse 50 web pages/day + stream 15 minutes of m.youtube.com/week + download 10 songs or applications/month. Should keep you out of trouble for a while, eh? Extra data is 4 cents/MB.

Nice to see more options. They've also introduced a $10/50MB option as well.

Yeah, 1GB would have been nicer than 500MB, but most people won't need that much. Also, I think their main reason for choosing 500MB was to prevent a lot of people jumping down to $20 data from the $35 UL data.

The $10 plan looks not too bad, for me anyway. It looks like they modified their previous social plan to include the 50mb of data.
Previously they only had a $10 social plan for Blackberry that gave access to BBM, IM, few social sites. This one hasn't changed, but it would have been nice for it to gain 50MB of data as well.

The $10/50MB is a new plan for non-blackberry users.

500MB for $20 is a step in the right direction but hardly the "revolution" some expected would come with added competition. I agree, Wind wants to avoid too many customers dropping down from $35 unlimited, which the more "comfortable" figure of 1GB could encourage.

I agree, but then maybe they should have put the price to $15 instead.

That's the thing, there's so many options they could have gone with.

A good setup I think would have been decent pay per use rates for those with no plan added on, then $15/500MB, and $30/UL
