Wind Mobile said this week it has officially launched wireless network coverage in Abbotsford, British Columbia and Cambridge, Ontario. The company also said it was in the final stages of testing in London Ontario with service beginning very soon.

In fact, Digital Home readers report that service is already available in London along with several new stores at Dundas and Richmond and the Sherwood forest malls.

Wind now offers service in the following markets across Canada: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Hamilton, Kitchener / Waterloo, St. Catharines-Niagara and Toronto.

The wireless company offers a variety of voice plans which range in price from $15 to $45 a month and three data plans which range in price from $25 to $45 a month.

Since launching almost two years ago, the wireless company has picked up more than 350,000 subscribers and says it has plans for further network expansion throughout Canada in 2012.

The following graphic shows the Wind Coverage area in the London region. The portion in red is the current service area while the yellow area is the future expansion area. Coverage maps for other markets can be found on the Wind Mobile website.
