I'm moving to the other side of my apartment building. Picture 1 shows where I am right now. Picture 2 shows where I'm moving to. I will have the dish on a tripod mounted to the balcony floor. Do you think I'll have a problem getting a signal? In picture 2 you can see the shadow of the balcony. I'm on the top floor.

Hmm I thought I could insert pictures but maybe not.

I used this: http://www.dishpointer.com/

My new location is Latitude: 52.1209°
Longitude: -106.7079° and my old location is

Latitude: 52.1209°
Longitude: -106.7076°

Any one able to help me? :(

there might be an obstruction...

Latitude: 52.1200° Longitude: -106.7076° Name: 82W Distance: 38969km
163.8ft away from your apartment, standing at 80.2ft tall. check mark "show obstacle" under "option" and you will see a red balloon in the way of the signal path.

From the Lat & Long provided, it looks like you are going to be on the South West corner of the building, your Dish will have to be as far South as you can get it and you should be able to shoot over the building to your south with no issues.
