Wondering if the Direct TV Slimline elipitical dish 23 x 32 would work with Star Choice with a ku lnb??

The arm opening to install a SC Quad LNB on the Direct TV arm is 3/4 x 3 inches but I don't know the size of the SC Quad LNB if it will fit in that opening.

Tried going in the other direction, hooking up a Directv receiver to a SD dish with a DTV LNB. I got mixed results and found that I needed to lengthen the focal point. You would have to shorten, the slim design arm, to insert the SD LNB. You might be able to get a shorter arm and save cutting that wider flange on the DTV dish. Too bad you weren't in eastern Ontario, and we could do you an even trade for the slim design dish, for a Shaw Direct dish.
