Looking for a camcorder to replace our Sony 8mm, something for home movies of the kids. Have a few listed below that are within our budget, any opinions/experiences with any of them, please chime in! I'd appreciate any replies.

Any reason why it has to be SD? Are you not interested in HD?

Can't really afford the extra cost and don't have any of the HD equipment (TV, cable box, etc).

But truthfully, I haven't looked too hard. How much more expensive is a good HD camera (ie. Sony)?
