I built a DBGH and am thrilled with the results so thanks to all you antenna designers. Now I want to build a setup so I don't need a rotor. I don't mind to try a complicated setup (ganging and or stacking) but need some recommendations. I'm trying for the same stations I have now so the 70 mile range is good (more is always better)
I'm in Courtice Ontario the TV Fool co-ordinates are 43.92 -78.77 and am planning to put up a new tower at about 35'
What should I build???

I think I would build another one of what you have. Then have 2 coax lines coming down from the antenna into an A-B switch near the TV. Aim one about 225 degrees and the other one at about 169 degrees.

How much separation between the two?

I have a 80' coax run to deal with. I don't want to have 2 pre-amps. I would like to try ganging them at the source. From what I'm reading it's difficult to make this work. Is it worth the effort?

If you ran 2 identical DBGHs then you'd stand a chance, but if you try to gang dissimilar antennas you might be in for a rough ride. See Post #16 in the OTA FAQ for some background info.
