Hi all,

So here is my situation.

I want to build an antenna myself. And reading around in this forum I've found that I could replace a Winegard HD7698P (recommended on TVFool forum) with a GH with narods.

So is a Non-modular nikiml's GH10n3 will do the trick at my location.

Here is my TVFool report.
Important channel are 2.1 (SRC), 17.1 (TQ), 35.1 (V) and 10 (that will became 10.1 if what I was told is correct).

Great thanks for your help!

Some other questions? Material considerations.

I've almost finished my build plans, but questions remains.

I saw on Nikiml site that the antenna is build with T6 1/4 inch Aluminum rods.
But there's a post about material stating that driven element with 1/4 inch is enough and reflector with 3/8 inch aluminum tubing is great. Will that make a real difference on built and quality of reception if I use all T6 1/4 inch rod or the mix of size?

Also is there advantage of using 1/4 inch copper rods for the driven element.

Great thanks.

no. but the models are optimized for 1/4" T6.

Solid copper would be easier to bend. Just make sure you use the same material for the driven elements and the top-hat narods.
