I'm interested in the Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 Suite which is USD $90 or so in the States but Amazon.ca sells it for C$130. Any suggestions?

You can't order it to the States and ship to your place or if you live near the border to a border place that has pickup?

Last time I tried to order from Amazon.com it wouldn't ship to Canada.

Why not just buy direct from Sony as a download? You can even buy a backup disc for $5.

It's too bad that the $29.95 Fedex shipping kills the physical media deal from Sony Creative Software website.

Newegg had it on-sale on their Canadian site a while back for ~$90 CDN IIRC but it was limited time and I didn't act quickly enough.

I did a test order for the program and I did not get any error messages stating that it can't be shipped to Canada.

Electronics can't be shipped to the Canada from Amazon. Software can.

Shipping might be a killer.


If you live near the border. There is usually a place in the US where you can send packages and you can pick them up and save on shipping.
