Discovery to launch new channels in Canada

INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY LAUNCHING Monday, August 30 Replaces Court TV

So if I understand this correctly Court TV shut down, and Discovery Investgation is a "New" channel from the US, but more or less showing basicaly the same type of programing?

Too bad I wish Court TV didn't shut down but they'd just add Discovery ID, this way we get to see more programing even though it would be the same type of programing there maybe different shows on each network.

And here I was hopping for more channels.

I am thinking the opposite. I wish a lot more Canadian specialty channels would shut down to make way for some decent US stations to replace them.
