I think I may have seen a similar post but have not been able to get it in search. I have Rogers High Speed Extreme, but have had the same modem for the past 10 years. Am I getting the speed I am paying for with a modem that old? Should I be asking Rogers for an updated modem?

Are you sure it's 10 years old? Docsis 2 modems on Rogers haven't been around for 10 years. I don't know why Rogers would sign you up to Extreme service without at least a Docsis 2 modem.

+1 on what dirtroad said. Check your performance. If you aren't getting the speed your paying for then call Rogers and ask why.

As a 10 year loyal user, they might upgrade your modem free of charge. (if its required)
