Hello,

This discussion is about the latest Physical Media you purchased. Can be anything physical, such as an 8-Track Tape, Cassette Tape, Vinyl Record, Compact Disc, Laser Disc, DVD, Blu-Ray, etc.

What is the latest Physical Media Purchase you made?

The latest purchase I made was last week, I bought the latest Taylor Swift Album on Vinyl Record. it's not for me, its for my Daughter. Even though she listens to Taylors music on her smart speaker, she really really really wanted something Tangible and physical. My daughter loves it when she can read the liner notes, song lyrics, album photos, other notes, etc.

For myself, I bought the 3-Disc trilogy of the Rush Hour movie series on Blu-Ray disc. This is one of my favourite movie series, I actually can watch this movie over many times and not get tired of it.

Thanks.

Feel free to share what you purchased.

I have David Gilmours "Live at the Circus Maximus" blu-ray arriving today, and got "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" deluxe edition and Porcupine Tree "Closure/Continuation" live blu-ray a few weeks ago. All feature Atmos mixes.

Because I'm a collector of rare and obscure tv series from the 50's thru the 80's I often obtain DVD's but not from official sources, and then convert them to digital media for backup. I have about 10 Terabytes of content.

We get almost everything we need from our Rogers Xfinity package. Sometimes we have more than we need and delete programming that we haven't had time to watch. If something of interest is not available on Xfinity, we can often borrow DVDs for free from the Toronto Library. We catch up on any Netflix programming of interest at a hotel we stay at in Mexico in the winter. It is an extremely rare movie that we watch more than once, although I do enjoy music videos (free from YouTube). We are very patient in our old age. ;)

Last purchase was probably a music video BD or two about 10 years ago.

For my nieces (they do have a record player):
  • The Life of a Showgirl: Sweat and Vanilla Perfume Portofino Orange Glitter Vinyl
  • The Life of a Showgirl: The Shiny Bug Edition (Violet Shimmer Marbled Vinyl)
Although we debate who's the bigger Swifte - me or them :D
