The Weather Network announced today that is is upgraded its popular mobile website and WeatherEye Mobile for BlackBerry application which the network says provides improved navigation and more detailed weather and weather-related information.

New features of the mobile website are improved navigation, Interactive Satellite and Radar Maps, Access to Flight Tracker, Traffic Flow and Traffic Cameras and popular reports including the Flu Report, Pollen Report, UV Report, Air Quality and the Bug Report,

The network says the new site ( will work on all WebKit-based phones including the iPhone, phones running the Google Android platform and the Palm Pre.

In addition to a new mobile site, the Weather Network has launched an upgraded version of WeatherEye Mobile for BlackBerry which boasts a improved navigation, ability to add multiple cities, access to radar maps and Hourly Forecasts and a GPS locator with a FIND ME function so you don't have to type in the city name you are in.

The WeatherEye Blackberry application, which is now available on BlackBerry App World, operates on both on Wi-Fi and wireless networks.
