Marketing agency, Twist Image is ready to get to work on Walmart Canada's digital marketing vision.

Walmart conducted a competitive review and awarded the contract to the Toronto and Montreal-headquartered agency based on its strategy, execution and thought leadership.

Emma Fox, Sr. V.P. of Marketing at Walmart Canada, explains: "After seeing Twist Image’s vision for digital marketing with Walmart Canada, the choice was unanimous. We understand the nature of this highly connected consumer, and we believe Twist Image shares this vision and is the right partner for Walmart Canada in delivering on our vision to use all things Web, mobile and social media to help Canadians save money so they can live better."

The retail giant announced in early February that it plans to spend $750 million to add 4.6 million square feet of retail space to its Canadian operations in the next 12 months. Altogether, 73 projects will be undertaken including building new stores and expanding, remodelling or relocating existing facilities.
