Anybody tried the new servers yet?

September 23, 2010, 9:30 am

In order to respond to the high demand in our current Canadian servers
(Montreal and Toronto), we have released 2 new servers: Toronto2 and
Montreal2.

The new Canadian servers have a vastly improved capacity over the
current ones. They may replace someday the current Montreal and
Toronto servers, or remain as stand alone servers, depending on the
outcome of the activity of the following weeks.

If you wish to connect to the new servers, do not forget to also
update your DID number's point of presence (inside your VoIP.ms
customer interface)

The address to the new servers are toronto2.voip.ms and montreal2.voip.ms

I tried the new Toronto server (toronto2.voip.ms) and seem to get better ping times. I was wondering why my voice mail greeting wasn't working correct and then I realized that you have to transfer any greetings and messages over if you change servers. I just sent an email to them and they had everything swapped over within half and hour!

Guess I'll revive an old thread...

When doing my ping tests I noticed that toronto.voip.ms and toronto2.voip.ms resolve to the same IP address. Does anyone know if they're actually the same server now?
