Has anyone tried the travel packs from Rogers? We are thinking of purchasing adding of these to one of our kids' student plan for a road trip to the US. Roaming is currently disabled on our kids' plans. I suspect we need to re-enable roaming while the plan is active.

I'm interested in hearing about anyone's experience with the travel packs.

We add the voice travel packs whenever we go to the U.S. for an extended stay. If you plan to make calls or expect to receive calls they will save you bucks! You get so many minutes for X numbers of dollars, depending on your plan and both roaming fees and long distance are included. If you exceed your minutes, you are billed at a flat rate, much cheaper than regular roaming fees. The travel pack is good for one month.
