In collaboration with Industry Canada's Broadband Canada program, Videotron is now offering 4G wireless internet in various parts of Quebec where high-speed Internet has been previously been unavailable.

Videotron is now offering broadband internet service in the following regions: Beauce-Lower St. Lawrence, Victoriaville-Drummondville, Monteregie-Eastern Townships, Laurentians-Mont-Laurier, Lac-Saint-Jean and the North Shore.

The Wireless Internet service, which will cost $37.95 per month, will offer download speeds of 1.5 mbps and upload speeds of 384 kbps. The plan has a download cap of 10 GB per month.

The cost of installing the necessary equipment, consisting of a small outdoor antenna and a modem/router, is $150.
