In addition to announcing its new Ultimate Service Internet 120 today, Videotron today said that it had made some improvements to its existing USI 50 and regular High Speed Internet plans without adding any costs.

Starting October 13, upload speeds on its residential and business Ultimate Speed Internet 50 services will be doubled from 1 mbps to 2 mbps. The $81.95 per month plan will now offer download speeds of 50 Mbps, upload speeds of 2 Mbps and a monthly bandwidth cap of 125GB.

In addition, in November, the monthly combined upload/download cap on Videotron's popular residential High-Speed Internet service will be increased from 30 GB to 40 GB. The $42.95 per month plan will now offer download speeds of 7.5 Mbps, upload speeds of 820 Kbps and a monthly bandwidth cap of 30GB.
