in France, one operator tried them, and they quickly reverse their decision after public outcry. At least there, there's one price, no matter what speed you get (they put you on the fastest one available to your home). If you are connected to Fibre, you get fibre speeds. No stupid lite, express, extreme, etc...

Now it seems like Canada has a first with specific caps based on direction. I'm sure it will be standard in a few years....

And come on...$150/month for internet access?

wow that upload cap is disastrous. i usually seed 2 or 3x my download, so i'd be over in a matter of days. eastlink is still the best provider in canada.
