Video and audio drop outs on SD channels with Rogers 8642 HD PVR

Every couple of seconds the signal drops off (no video and audio) on all SD channels. HD channels are not affected. It's been happening for a couple of weeks and before I would lose the signal after 1-2 minutes. I just did a hard reset (unplugged power cable for 1 minutes) and restarted the box. If first the SD channels were fine but after about 15 minutes the problem reoccured. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a fix? I plan on calling Rogers tomorrow.

You may have an issue with heat and your STB. Is it in an open location - well ventillated?
