I assume you mean to attach a USB hard drive? I ran into a buddy the other day who works at MTS and asked him if we would ever be able to attach a USB hard drive, and he said "no" .... but I didn't get to push him on that any further as I had to get to an appointment. I hope they reconsider, because we fill 160GB pretty easily now that the new TV season has started.

In mediaroom client 2.0 which should make its appearance next year you can play photosm, music and I think now videos from a usb stick. You cant's however plug in a usb hard drive. That said there is also a mediaroom client for windows 7 media center. Its up to the service provider as to when and if they roll out this client but this would allow you to record programs to your pc hard drive and also stream them back to your xbox360, moto stb ,zune and windows phone 7.
