I'm located near Montreal, and I would like to get US OTA on my TV. I can build an antenna by myself, but I could not install an antenna on the top of my building.

I'm wondering if it's still worthy to try to build an indoor antenna in order to get US OTA.

If you have windows facing the right direction, and you're high enough off the ground, it's possible.

Can you get US channels with rabbit ears now? If so, an indoor yagi is highly likely to work well. If you can't get any signal (even weak signal) then I expect you won't have much luck.

I can't get any reception on US OTA with my rabbit ears (even thought I get clear reception on Canadian OTA) and none of my window is facing southeast — so I can get a signal from the Mt. Mansfield, VT candlestick.

1 - Where are you located in relation to Montreal.

2 - What is your set up? Do you have a TV with a ATSC tuner?

3 - What kinda antenna are your presently using?

4 - Have you spoken with the building owner to install an exterior antenna. No different than having a Sat dish antenna installed.
