Desktop computers are not a problem for me but lately I have seen some great prices on notebook (not netbook) computers which have large drives, DVD burners and include Windows 7. Is it possible to easily connect to existing 24 inch monitors, wireless keyboard and mouse etc? To upgrade current desktop to Windows 7 is not easily workable because some peripherals do not have drivers for W7. Current system works well for me but it would be nice to be able to have notebook using larger monitor etc. sailmaker

For keyboard or mouse you can use wireless that has a USB dongle or even bluetooth if the notebook has bluetooth.
As for monitors that is not a problem. Most laptops now have HDMI connection & VGA (some have DVI). A modern laptop can easily do 1920x1080 resolution.
