Looks like we might be getting a new station in Buffalo on Sinclair Television group stations (WUTV/WNYO). This will be a Sci-Fi channel launching in fall.

It will definitely be airing on either WNYO or WUTV. Sinclair has said the new network has clearance on all of it's owned stations. I hope nothing gets dropped or replaced, although WNYO has room for another sub-channel.

Just read that the original Johnny Carson Tonight show Classics will start airing on Antenna TV January 2016.

Comet network

Look like Sinclair;s sci-fi diginetm now named Comet, will begin airing on October 31st. Those of us who are able to get WNYO in Buffalo will get it when that channel adds it as 49.3.

The countdown on the site indicates it launches October 31st @ 11:00 with Moonraker as its first program

My Tivo updated last night with the channel name and designation but no programming

WIVB

With WKBW, WGRZ and WUTV all broadcasting .2s and .3s, has anyone ever heard/read why WIVB has resisted the lure of the sub-channel diginet? As a CBS affiliate, they'd be perfect for Decades. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decades_(TV_network)

I noticed the article said that some larger PBS stations already offer this...I guess I have one. My PBS had a dedicated "Kids" sub that shows the PBS kids programming all the time.

Hello Gents,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on watching GritTV here in Canada. It is a public network in the US. They have a site but no live streaming.

If you install an Antenna, you should be able to receive it on WUTV's sub channel 29.3. I get it north of you in Stouffville.
