WNYO (Channel 49 from Buffalo) is carrying the WPIX New York Yankees games again this summer - watched the Yankees/Angels game the other night.

Unfortunately, the WPIX Mets package was picked up by a cable channel in Western New York, therefore isn't on OTA this season.

channel 2 in buffalo shows some british soccer games on Saturday and every now and than ctv and fox 29 shows msl soccer.and than there a sorts channel on 49.2 that shows American college football and basketball all the time unless theres an imfo commercial late at nite the channels called asn.than you got a lot of Saturday college football games in the fall on cbs,fox,abc,and nbc norte dame home games.so there is a lot of free sports in the states just not much in Canada.and chch 11 in Hamilton showsuniversity game of the week football they signed a 5 year deal last YEAR.

Unless I break it down, CTV is both Toronto and Kitchener; CTV2 is Barrie, London, and repeaters in Hamilton and Niagara; CBS / FOX / NBC is the affiliates in Rochester, Buffalo, Erie.


This season I'll also make notes on the outlying area games if you have a good antenna, live far enough outside the GTA, or Tropo is good on game day with a ** notation. I will include cities such as Detroit, Cleveland, Ottawa if they are broadcasting different games.
