So I found a script on how to de-anaglyph a movie. I follow the instructions to a T but still get the AVISynth read error: AVISynth: Unkown Exception.

The scripts are added here. You can change the movie file to whatever you might have found on youtube and see if you have the same error as I do. The scripts are GNU approved.

I have a few 3D anaglyph DVDs bought over the years and now that I have a 3D TV, I would like to convert them.

I just started with AVISynth over the weekend, cool stuff!

Are the path's to your files correct? It looks like you're using the wrong backslash (should be '\', not '/'), but I'm not sure if that would cause your error.

Actually, I fixed the error, if it was really a fix. I have Windows 7 64 bit and had downloaded the 64 bit version of VirtualDub. Turns out it doesn't like my computer.

Ran AVISynth through the 32 bit version and it worked fine.

Now, I'm converting regular movies using StereoMaker., The result is as good as Piranha 3D IMHO.
