The new eco-friendly mobile app works for iPhone and Android users and will provide beer enthusiasts with an interactive map of Bandshell Park showcasing the Festival’s brewers from around the world, culinary partners and exhibitors.
Festival president, Les Murray’s says the new TFOB 2013 app allows users to log tasting notes from the 200 featured brands and identify their favourite brew. There is also a voting function that allows attendees to select their top three brewers of TFOB 2013 and qualify for a chance to win two tickets to Toronto’s Festival of Beer for LIFE. That's right, the winner will receive two tickets to Toronto’s Festival of Beer every year for life!
Murray added that the app will be updated daily with the latest schedules for the main stage, the Labatt Grilling Tent, and the educational Brewmaster Series presented by Niagara Brewing College.
The app integrates with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and is available for download at http://www.oneevent-oneapp.com/tfob-2013/ .
