i have a telus modem and a time capsule. my problem is that i have to power cycle my time capsule every other day because i loose my connection. can anyone give me any tips on this.

I think your issue is with the telus modem. I have a rogers modem, and have never had the issues you speak of. Ive had my time capsule at least 1.5 years.

The Mac forums report problems between Time Capsule and PPOE connections - so cable subscribers don't have the problem. The disconnects are caused by a 'loss of authentication' problem between the router and the server. Primus PPOE clients in Ottawa have the same problem, so it is not specific to your provider. Make sure the TC is in 'router mode' (and solely controlling the PPOE connection) and not in 'bridge mode', and all computers connected to the TC should be using DHCP (not PPOE!).
