Hi folks,
Any ideas on the best way to connect the ipad to an AV receiver? I saw Apple sells component cables... analogue. I was archiving my tunes on a western digital drive and streaming tunes through the PS3, but now I hate to admit I may have drank some Apple "kool-aid". The ipad is a pretty slick device - please post brilliant solutions below.

Samsung 50"
PS3
Telus Sat TV PVR
Onkyo 606
Harmony 650
of course HDMI

Looks like you answered your own question - Apple Component AV Cable.

Note:
Component video output to television is supported by iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPod nano (3rd generation and later), iPod touch (2nd generation and later), and iPod classic at 480p or 576p resolution; and by iPhone 3G, iPhone, and iPod touch (1st generation) at 480i or 576i resolution.

If you have wifi available then you could get an Airport Express and use Airplay. That way, you can still use the iPad while listening to music. A lot more expensive than using cables though.
