Telus says it will spend $650 million in Alberta this year in an effort to upgrade and expand its wireline and wireless broadband services in that province.

Company president and CEO, Darren Entwistle says the spending will enable the company to offer high definition capabilities to more of its Telus IPTV customers as well as expand wireless broadband offerings to Albertans from Slave Lake to Pincher Creek, Grande Cache to Lloydminster.
