Due to recent content provider changes, The Biography Channel on channel 733 is no longer available effective February 29, 2016.

Viceland will apparently be in HD on channel 733. Telus will be offering a free preview until May 31.

Telus just added a few Olympic channels on 89, 95, 97, 98. 95 is a 4K channel, so it will require a 4K box.

I see the Weather Network is now in HD, and you now have to go to 9128 if you want the old sd version, as well, they list BBC Canada as being HD, but it is hd that is downgraded to sd and then put out on an hd channel (hence the black bars all around it). Is BBC Canada going to upgrade to full HD?

Is MSNBC 804 now in HD?

I've noticed that MSNBC is now appearing in 16X9 even though the channel guide states the channel is in SD. Is MSNBC now being carried in HD? Opinion?

I haven't subscribed to that channel in a long time, but I recall it being in that format even back then, so I don't think it's anything new.

What gives with BBC Canada on Optik?

Why does Telus claim this is HD when it's not? Also in the last month or show various programs I had scheduled to record on 376 were changed to 9376. This was strange as 376 is still active. I initially assumed Telus was going to drop 376 and just have 9376 but that doesn't appear to be the case. Anyone know what the heck is going on with this?

I'm looking at signing my parents up with Optik TV.

I see TSN 4K is on Channel 905.
But I do not see SportsNet 4K Channel 918 or SportsNet One 4K Channel 921 which appears to be advertised here:

Hope Telus will carry this as I have missed SPEED channel greatly!

Finally, more than 3 years later, Telus puts Fox Sports Racing on channel 960. Currently on free preview.

Telus just added Travelxp channel that is 4K as well as HLG HDR. The picture is quite impressive.

New channel i have noticed in guide. Channel 716 TXP4KHDR

cannot find any info about it. Is this an internal Telus channel to showcase 4k HDR? Seems to be repeating the same programs over and over.
