I Just noticed that Telus has recently reduced the rates of HD content on VOD from $8.00 to $7.00. A step in the right direction. I am looking forward to a time when we do not have to pay a premium for HD quality movies. SD or HD vod the rental price should all be the same.

I expected the same of CD prices to come in line with cassette prices in time, but.... Tough chance. I doubt it will ever happen.

They need to do that. I've always thought that $8 for a HD movie was too expensive, and now we have other options like the Playstation Video Store. rented A Night at the Musuem II from the store for $6. I was very happy with the result.

Also with the Netflix streaming service coming to Canada, there's going to be even more options.
