The app, whose Apple iOS versions have been downloaded more than 60 million times, is now available for free from the Android Market.
The goal of the game, which was fashioned after Konami's popular Dance Dance Revolution game, is to tap each of the coloured balls when they reach a line at the bottom of the screen. If the ball is hit on the beat, the player gains points, but if not, it counts as a miss. There are also "shakes", which require the player to move the smartphone to the right, left, or middle.
Music on the app includes song from contemporary artists such as Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Metallica, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Cee Lo Green. Users can purchase more songs through in-app purchases.
