This thread is for Syndicated TV Shows - series that are distributed to individual U.S. stations or ownership groups and not through a network agreement. Syndicated series can be on various networks in different cities and may be available to Canadians depending on the U.S. stations they receive through their TV provider or OTA. If I mention some stations where the program is available, it's meant to be a representative sample of the more commonly available stations and not an exhaustive list.

Where the Canadian rights have been picked by a Canadian network, any news will be posted in that network's thread.

Judge Judy will end after 25 seasons when the 2020-21 season is complete. CBS Television Distribution will continue to distribute reruns. Judy Sheindlin is working on a new series Judy Justice. Judge Judy is the top-rated daytime syndicated program since the end of The Oprah Winfrey Show. (Deadline) The program is available on CJON (NTV), WUHF (Fox Rochester) and KHQ (NBC Spokane, Washington).

NBCUniversal Television Distribution has renewed its syndicated talk show The Steve Wilkos Show for two more seasons through 2022. (Source) The program is available on WUHF (Fox Rochester), WPIX and KTLA.

The syndicated talk show will be available in 95% of the U.S. She will also host several digital shows including Drew’s Movie Nite on Thursday, July 30, The Making Of The Drew Barrymore Show, The Art of the Interview and Drew’s Cookbook Club. EDIT: syndicated game shows Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! are returning to the studio to tape episodes for the upcoming seasons. The productions have protocols in place in accordance with current government guidelines to protect contestants, staff, crew and talent from the spread of COVID-19. (Deadline)

Jeopardy! will continue to air the remaining 35 pre-taped episodes through Christmas Day after the passing of Canadian-born host Alex Trebek. (Deadline) No mention of a new host or if the series will go into reruns for an extended period.

My guess is that Ken Jennings would probably be the new host of Jeopardy.

Jeopardy! will air 10 of Alex Trebek’s best episodes during the weeks of December 21 and December 28, with the last week of episodes that Trebek shot before his death now set to air beginning January 4.

Producer Sony Pictures Television said that a permanent host has not been named. A series of interim guest hosts will take the podium, beginning with former champion Ken Jennings when Jeopardy! resumes production November 30. The first week of guest-hosted shows featuring Jennings will air the week of January 11. Other hosts have not yet been announced. (Deadline)

Fox Television Stations has renewed syndicated mainstays 25 Words or Less, Divorce Court and Dish Nation for 2 years through the 2022-2023 season. Fox’s portfolio also includes the forthcoming new version of You Bet Your Life hosted by Jay Leno, with 180 episodes scheduled to begin Fall 2021. (Deadline)

You Bet Your Life, hosted by Jay Leno, has been sold in 98% of the U.S. ahead of its September 13 premiere. The game show will launch on Fox stations and has been sold in 190 markets from station groups including Sinclair, Nexstar, Scripps, Tegna, Meredith, Gray and several others. (Deadline)

Jeopardy! will begin production on Season 38 in mid-August, with new episodes launching on September 13. Mike Richards will continue as executive producer of Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune and has been named as the full-time host of the daily syndicated program.

Mayim Bialik joins as the host of Jeopardy!'s primetime and spinoff series, including the upcoming all-new Jeopardy! National College Championship set to air on ABC next year. (Source)

Relative Justice is a new syndicated daytime court TV show set to premiere on Monday, September 13. (Source) It will air in over 80% of the U.S. and will be available on WSBK.

As Wheel of Fortune is set to kick off its 39th season on September 13th, hosts Pat Sajak and Vanna White have signed on to continue hosting the show through the 2023-2024 season. (Source) The game show is syndicated throughout the U.S. and is available on YES TV and NTV in Canada.

The Wendy Williams Show‘s scheduled Season 13 premiere has been delayed after talk show host Williams tested positive for a breakthrough case of Covid-19. The expected premiere date is Monday, October 4th, with repeats scheduled until then. (Deadline)

The Wendy Williams Show is slated to continue through the end of this season with rotating guest hosts, as Williams has been sidelined with health issues for the entire season. Sherri, hosted by Sherri Shepherd, will inherit the time slot on Fox-owned stations in fall 2022 and will be syndicated in other parts of the country. The producer is leaving the door open to resuming The Wendy Williams Show if/when her health fully recovers and she wants to do it. (Deadline)
