I have Sympatico DSL plus a Linksys wired router.

If I upgraded to Sympatico’s claimed wireless networking, which as I understand it is just a wifi transceiver and receiver and not a router, could I continue to use my Linksys wired router?

And if so, how?

Or do I have this wrong?

If I understand correctly, I may be using a similar setup with my BellAliant high speed. They give out a 'Gateway' modem which has a built in 4-port + wireless router. I chose to use my own D-Link Router for wireless so I simply come out of one of the ports on the Gateway, and into the WAN port of the D-Link router. Then I run all of my devices through the D-Link's wireless function & ports, ignoring the router/wireless function of the DSL modem. Absolutely no problems doing this.
