Super Channel is still under Bankruptcy Protection, so they are on a very tight budget under the supervision of a court-appointed monitor.

They will probably continue to run the old series like Power on time since they have long-term contracts and have to make scheduled payments.

The situation is more uncertain with series like Berlin Station and Graves. They may have picked them up late, but will run season 2 on time or they just be going one season at a time and will pick up season 2 if and when they can afford it.

I thought SC was pretty good at airing shows day and date? Not months later.

My experience is that SC runs shows from several days to several weeks behind US networks. Even worse is that a lot of the shows are from standard tier cable channels in the US but sold at a premium price on SC. If they weren't on SC, we would likely see them on standard tier channels at cheaper prices or on TMN with simultaneous airings with the US network. TMN and HBO Canada usually air series simultaneously with their originating channels, SC not as often.

Hulu announced they are renewing Harlots for a second season to be released in 2018.

Starz announced that the second season of "The Girlfriend Experience" will premiere on Sunday, November 5th. (Source)

It looks like season 1 was shown on Super Channel the same day as Starz and is still available On Demand until Oct. 9 2017.

Press Release: Super Channel acquires American Gods from FremantleMedia International

Super Channel is pleased to announce that it has acquired the exclusive Canadian broadcast rights to the critically acclaimed television series, American Gods, from FremantleMedia International. The eight-episode first season will premiere in Spring 2018 and also be available to subscribers on Super Channel On Demand.

The first season was partially filmed in Toronto and the series has been renewed for a second season by Starz in the US.

QYOU set to launch daily esports TV & multiplatform series with Super Channel

QYOU Media will launch its first dedicated esports program Heads Up Daily in early 2018. Super Channel's GINX Esports TV Canada will be the first licensing partner.

Each episode of HUD will bring together QYOU's engaging hosts and a changing lineup of guests -- from esports professionals to game developers to popular streamers on YouTube and Twitch – for tournament recaps, esports top plays, hot topics in the world of gaming, and upcoming event previews.

HUD will be produced in Canada in partnership with ECG Productions in Markham, Ontario and built with plans to customize and localize the programming globally through QYOU's rapidly expanding broadcast and mobile distribution partnerships.

Super Channel added Full Circle: Miami to the list of series, but it's not scheduled for this year. AT&T's AUDIENCE Network aired the third installment of Full Circle earlier this fall.

I noticed that Tiny Plastic Men was removed from this year's schedule, but it's still on the series list.
