Sure it might work OK for some, but keep in mind it is designed for up to 863 MHz (in the old TV ch 79).
So it might have been a good choice prior to 1983 when TV chs 70 thru 83 were removed.
Most of the multi bay antennas have their peak gain at their high end, and struggle at the low end as it is.
Guessing they just market the same design in multiple markets (eg Euro / NA, etc), regardless of the specific spectrum used in that market. It could be better if it was redesigned / frequency scaled to top out at ch 69, 51 or even better 37.

correct, the db4e and db8e were optimized for up to ch 51 (698 MHz top end).
While the db4 and db8 were the previous versions optimized up to ch 69.
To date, I think the only antennas you'll find optimized for 14-36, the latest spectrum,
are the DIY designs provided by holl_ands and other hobbyists.
Maybe Televees has something more recent that doesn't rely on external filtering?
