I can think of a couple of scenes that were overdone. When they meet Lando for the first time he says something like "I'm the administrator of this facility". It's supposed to be a fairly small mining operation. He tells them all to abandon it and it doesn't sound like a big operation to do so. When they fly over the planet (?) in the original it fits the story. In the updated version it looks like a bustling megalopolis with millions of people. Wrong! So did I. I watched the first 3 movies so much I new exactly where scenes were added--I liked those added scenes. I don't understand why some fans want the originals--I do see why they may not like it when Han shoots first, but what does it really matter? Either way he knew was facing a hit man and only one of them was going to walk out of the bar. George was trying to be politically correct--he could have left it the way it was and no one would have even noticed.
