Hi All,
I know the 9241's need 2 cable input feeds from the satellite. If I have just 1 cable from the satellite, is there a splitter of some sort that I can plug into it that will split that cable into 2 cables that can go into the 9241's 2 satellite inputs?
Thanks!

The short answer is YES & NO depending on the type of LNBF you have at the Dish.

If you have an older Legacy setup with 2 x Dual LNBF's feeding into an SW21 or SW44 at the Dish NO.

If you have the newer DPP Twin LNBF at the Dish, then YES, you need to obtain a DPP Separator (NOT a splitter) for behind the 9241.

I would suggest running a "Check Switch" on the 6131 to verify type of switch if any present. MENU, 6, 1, 1.

Better yet just look at the dish and tell us if your dish looks like this

if it is then no.....you need two lines

or like this

if it is then yes.....a separator will work

This is the dpp separator not to be confused with or substituted with a splitter

Input gets the line from the dish satellite in 1 and 2 go to the 9241

You do not say how many receivers you are running.....

There is also a DPP Quad LNBF that has 4 outputs, that might be an option if the Twin (2) does not have enough.
