Hello, I am trying to set up a new HD rcvr. I get good signal from both 91 & 82 Sat. I am missing a few channels. From both Sat I can get 90% signal on some responder and 0% on others.

My installation might be low from the ground (8 ft.)and partially throught the neighbor's chimmey, would that be the cause?

any tips would help.

sounds like your dish needs to be slightly adjusted, i'd guess your missing the lower powered tp's. list the tp's with no sig, or low.
on 91 what is your strength on t1 and t32? t1 and t32 for 82?

Sounds to me like you are using an SD Receiver to set up the system, if this is the case, you will NEVER get all Transponders on 82, as the SD receivers cannot see tham all.

Hook up the HD Box, it should see them all.

There is no way you would get 90% on some and 0% on other with a Dish out of alignment.
