It does not mean that the regular CBS main channel will broadcast the games, they have their own sport channel, not sure if that's available around these parts.

By the way, anybody knows where the Bundesliga rights will end up for next season, Sportsnet contract ends this year, have yet to pick an announcement or I missed it ?

Since ESPN has gotten them in the US, TSN would be a natural but I think they'd bury the action on TSN GO instead of cable tv.

I think ESPN plus is total different than ESPN. DAZN is probably the best fit for Bundesliga next season as TSN GO doesn't seem to be interested in any European Leagues.

Wonder what would happen to Sportsnet World next year, I have a feeling Sportsnet is focusing on SNNOW+ instead.

I don't see how this would be live on regular CBS - I don't see that they'd preempt their normal weekday afternoon programming between 3 pm and 5 pm.

Also, their daytime network blocks ends at 3 pm. 3 to 5 is local programming (in Buffalo 4 to 5 is the local news).

Perhaps the final on a weekend afternoon? Or on CBS Sports Network? I'd also assume it wouldn't be on CBS All Access Canada either (which doesn't carry some of the stuff made specifically for CBS All Access in the USA - like the new Star Trek series or even Twilight Zone).

Onesoccer just secured the rights to DFB-Pokal (German Cup) for Semis and Final.

I can find any info about the length of this contract.

Major League Soccer has announced it will resume its season on July 8 with a World Cup-style tournament involving all 26 of its teams. (Deadline)

I'm baffled. Who is carrying Scottish Premier League this year in Canada. Kickoff is tomorrow ... and no sign of it on DAZN.

No one has the TV rights in Canada since last year. However, you can subscribe to the team’s online TV such as Rangers or Celtic TV for live and on demand games.

Odd that something like One Soccer that has no programming currently doesn't pick it up. They must be asking for way too much money.

I emailed SPL last year back in August and this is the response they sent me:

"we are continuing to explore options in Canada and will hopefully be able to announce a deal soon. "

While we're talking about rights, anyone has any idea about Bundesliga 2020/21 season?

I thought I heard that Sportsnet's contract for Bundesliga for one more year - but it's more a gut feeling than a strong memory!

Shame that Scottish isn't available ... though Rangers Europa league match is on right now on DAZN - though as they are down 4-1 on Aggregate ... perhaps not for long. Arfield just came on for some "Canadian" content!
