That is correct, the Telelatino (TLN) broadcast has Italian language commentary as it normally does during soccer matches, and the Univision Canada Broadcast has Spanish language commentary as it has done so in the past.

Bell Media (TSN/CTV/RDS) has been holding the rights to FIFA World Cup, both men and women, since 2014 and all the way to 2026, in time of Canada-USA-Mexico World Cup.

The 2022 World Cup will be held in the Northern Hemisphere fall (November-December), unlike its usual summer, to alleviate the extreme heat typical to the Arabian desert.

UEFA Champions League is back again on CBS. This week they have the 2nd leg of the ties that were 3-1 in the first game: Chelsea vs. Real Madrid on Tuesday and Liverpool vs. Benfica on Wednesday.

It's a rare opportunity to see Alphonso Davies with Bayern Munich live without a Sportsnet World subscription. Der Klassiker (Bayern vs. Dortmund) is on ABC today. If you miss it, Sportsnet is rerunning it tomorrow morning.

"At launch, all MLS and Leagues Cup matches will include announcers calling the action in English and Spanish, and all matches involving Canadian teams will be available in French."

"[N]o matches will be subject to a local blackout or other restriction once the deal goes into effect. MLS's current national TV partners, such as ESPN and Univision, may still air some matches, although those matches will also be available on Apple TV."

TVA said they won't be showing MLS as of next season. Their statement also says TSN is out.

FIFA 2026 Host City Selection will be shown on TSN on Thursday at 1700 EDT. Also can be seen for free on FIFA+ streaming service.

Here is Apple's official press release: Apple and MLS to present all MLS matches for 10 years, beginning in 2023

From early 2023 through 2032, fans can get every live MLS match by subscribing to a new MLS streaming service, available exclusively through the Apple TV app. Complete details for the new service, including when fans can sign up and subscription pricing will be announced in the coming months.

A broad selection of MLS and Leagues Cup matches, including some of the biggest matchups, will also be available at no additional cost to Apple TV+ subscribers, with a limited number of matches available for free.

----

According to Sports Business Journal, Apple and MLS are partners in the new service, with Apple paying a minimum guarantee that sources say is worth $250M per year. MLS still is negotiating with linear TV networks, including ESPN and Fox, to broadcast select matches. SBJ has a limited number of free articles - you can read the full article here: MLS goes with Apple in landmark 10-year global media rights deal

Presumably that means that TSN could negotiate for the linear TV rights to certain Canadian games that would also stream on the Apple MLS service.
