SiriusXM (TSX: XSR) listeners across Canada will now have access to premium content and more apps.

A "Best Of" subscription package has been launched on both the Sirius and XM platforms. Therefore, Sirius subscribers may add premium XM content such as NBA, PGA or NHL while XM subscribers may access Sirius content including Howard Stern, NASCAR, NFL games and more.

Mark Redmond, President and CEO, SiriusXM Canada Inc. said: "Our combined subscriber base has been waiting for this exciting benefit since the SiriusXM Canada merger and we're excited to be able to offer the best of both services with Premier programming. This new offering will significantly enhance and extend our subscribers' entertainment experience."

Subscribers will also enjoy a full suite of updated mobile listening apps on iOS or Android platforms, which allow pausing music, starting a song from the beginning (Tune Start) when tuning to any music channel, and going back into programming by up to five hours after it’s been broadcast live.

SiriusXM has also introduced an On Demand feature with access to more than 200 shows from exclusive talk and entertainment, commercial-free music, comedy, and sports.
